Today's pedicure tutorial is on a client who has a bad case of nail fungus. This is an example of why there needs to be an advanced level of nail care between a nail technician and a podiatrist. People have asked me when is there a time you would refer the client to a doctor and not work on their nails. This would have been the time however she had already been to a podiatrist and they didn’t even clip her toenails.
Her toenails will most likely need medication intervention at some point but she didn’t want to take the medication due to the harsh side effects and sought help from me first.
